Hey Disney Vacationers! Effective immediately, Walt Disney World has announced a price increase for its Annual Pass products. This change marks the first price hike in over a year, with the previous increase implemented on October 11, 2023. Before that, prices were adjusted on December 8, 2022, following the introduction of a new post-pandemic Annual Pass system in August 2021. During that 2021 change, Disney also revamped the naming of their Annual Pass options to what we have today. Let’s dive into the details of the 2024 Disney World Annual Passes price increase, including updated pricing and benefits for each pass.

What This Means for Disney Fans
This price increase is the latest in a series of adjustments, reflecting the evolving landscape of Walt Disney World post-pandemic. While the added costs may come as a surprise, Disney continues to offer a range of pass options tailored to various needs, with perks like no-interest monthly payment plans for Florida residents, lower rates for renewal, and exclusive discounts.
Considering an Annual Pass? The question becomes is a Walt Disney World Annual Pass worth the cost. The simple math says if you see yourself going to Walt Disney World twice in one year, which trips of 4-days or more (with a park hopper) than an Annual Pass makes sense. The cost on average for a 4-day Walt Disney World park ticket with park-hopper is about $750, and on the low-end about $607 per adult.
Additionally, if you see yourself going year after year for the same number of trips or more, a Walt Disney World Annual Pass becomes a better value, as the renewal rate is lower.
See you in the parks!
