Hey Disney Cruisers! Have you ever wondered what goes into creating the magical spaces aboard a Disney cruise ship? Well, the latest updates from the Disney Treasure are sure to enchant and excite you. Just a few weeks ago, the final stateroom was meticulously installed at the Meyer Werft Shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, marking a significant milestone in the ship’s journey towards completion. Let’s take a look at the Disney Treasure Staterooms.
Building the Dream, One Cabin at a Time
The Disney Treasure is set to feature an impressive 1,246 staterooms, each crafted with incredible attention to detail. The process began at an off-site factory, where each cabin was prefabricated on a slow-moving conveyor belt. This methodical process allowed team members to focus on building out the various components that make each room special—from the intricate plumbing systems to the bespoke furniture and everything in between.
As the cabins moved down the line, the energy and dedication of the team were palpable. “It’s like watching a symphony; each person plays a part in bringing these spaces to life,” one team member shared. After each cabin was fully outfitted, it was loaded onto a semi-truck and transported to the shipyard. There, cranes carefully lifted and slotted each stateroom into its designated spot within the hull of the Disney Treasure.
A Sneak Peek Inside
The staterooms of the Disney Treasure promise to be a haven of comfort and style. The progress photos reveal a fresh, natural color scheme that complements the custom artwork adorning the walls. These pieces are not just decorative; they are inspired by beloved classic Disney and Pixar films. In the photo Disney Cruise shared we get a glimpse of the Arabian night themeing from Aladdin.
One guest, who had a chance to preview the staterooms, expressed her excitement: “The rooms feel so welcoming and magical. It’s like stepping into a storybook where every detail tells a part of the Disney narrative.”
Ready for Adventure
With the installation of the staterooms complete, the Disney Treasure is almost ready to welcome guests aboard for their own family adventures. The accommodations are designed to be a home away from home, where families can relax after a day of adventure and create memories that will last a lifetime.
The Disney Treasure staterooms are more than just places to sleep—they are integral parts of the magical Disney cruise experience. Each room is a testament to the creativity, craftsmanship, and care that Disney puts into every aspect of their cruise ships. So, as you plan your next family vacation, consider setting sail on the Disney Treasure and experience the magic for yourself!
