New Membership Magic Beyond Program

Hey Disney Vacation Club Members! Starting January 12, 2025, Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members who qualify for Membership Extras can enhance their benefits with the new Membership Magic Beyond program. For an annual fee of $99, this paid tier adds exclusive perks like discounted park tickets, waived fees, and more. The program runs from January 12 to December 31, 2025, and offers significant value for members looking to deepen their Disney experience.

What Is Membership Magic Beyond?

The Membership Magic Beyond program introduces a range of benefits designed to provide more value and flexibility to DVC owners. Key features include:

1. Discounted Theme Park Tickets

  • Walt Disney World Tickets:
    • Up to 10% off the regular rate of a five-day base ticket.
    • Includes one free day of water park admission.
    • Tickets are valid Monday through Friday and must be used within eight days of first redemption.
    • Park Hopper can be added for an additional fee.
  • Disneyland Tickets:
    • Up to 35% off three-day weekday admission.
    • Tickets include the Lightning Lane Multi Pass for quicker access to attractions.
    • Prices start at $330 for one park per day and $420 for Park Hopper tickets.

Members may purchase up to eight discounted tickets per year, valid only for household members.

2. Use Points to Purchase or Renew Sorcerer Annual Passes

For the first time, DVC points can be used to purchase or renew the Walt Disney World Sorcerer Annual Pass:

  • 75 points for a new pass.
  • 65 points for a renewal.

This pricing includes all associated taxes and fees. The Sorcerer Pass grants access to Walt Disney World parks with limited blackout dates, along with parking and discounts on dining and merchandise.

3. One-Time Use Points Bonus

The program offers a 2-for-1 deal on One-Time Use Points purchases, allowing members to stretch their vacation planning.

4. Exclusive Member Lounge Benefits

Membership Magic Beyond participants gain preferred access to member lounges, including new features like:

  • Character Meet-and-Greets at the ImaginAtrium Member Lounge in EPCOT.
    • A DVC resort stay is required to use this benefit.
    • Only one character appearance is offered per visit.
    • Scheduling details are yet to be announced.
  • Extended Hours at EPCOT Lounges: Enjoy a relaxing break from park activities with enhanced access to lounge amenities.

Diseny Vacation Club has additionally mentioned the new Membership Magic Beyond program will include priority access to the upcoming Magic Kingdom lounge once open. This benefit is not currently listed as the lounge has not officially opened.

5. Waived Exchange Fees

The $95 exchange fee typically charged for using points outside of the DVC system will be waived for participants in the Membership Magic Beyond program, providing additional flexibility for members exploring non-Disney destinations.

6. One Memory Maker Per Year

Members receive one 30-day Memory Maker accommodation annually, allowing them to download and share unlimited Disney PhotoPass photos.

How to Enroll

Purchasing Membership Magic Beyond is simple. Starting today, eligible DVC members can visit the DVC Member Portal and look under the Offers & Benefits tab to sign up. Payment options include credit cards, Disney Gift Cards, or the Disney Visa Rewards Card. Once enrolled, benefits become available starting January 12, 2025.

Is Membership Magic Beyond Worth It?

For just $99 per year, Membership Magic Beyond provides significant savings and exclusive opportunities that are perfect for frequent Disney travelers. Especially, if you travel to both Disneyland (DL) and Disney World (WDW) regularly. The discounted tickets alone can quickly offset the cost (if you do not purchase an Annual Pass at either WDW or DL), while additional benefits like waived fees, Memory Maker, and exclusive lounge access add unique value for members.

The one item I would say is not a great value is using your points to purchase a new or renew your Annual Pass at Walt Disney World. If you consider the minimum point value of $16 per point, the number of points it takes to purchase an annual pass or renew compare to paying cash is a net loss.

Here is the updated table with the new column:

DVC PointsEstimated Cash ValueEstimated Total (Using DVC Points) Sorcerer Annual Pass (Cash Price)
65$16$1,040$1,149.14
75$16$1,200$988.89

Conclusion

Disney Vacation Club’s Membership Magic Beyond represents a thoughtful addition to the member experience, offering practical savings alongside magical extras. Whether you’re planning multiple park visits, looking to make the most of your DVC points, or seeking premium perks, this program ensures more magic for less.
