EPCOT DVC Member Lounge Hours

Hey Disney Vacation Club Members! The EPCOT DVC Member Lounge—officially known as the Disney Vacation Club ImaginAtrium—is about to get an operating update in 2025. Starting January 12, operating hours are expanding to accommodate more member experiences, including perks for those who opt into the new Membership Magic Beyond program. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming changes to the EPCOT DVC Member Lounge hours, so you can plan your next visit like a pro.

Current Hours (Through January 11, 2025)

For now, the lounge remains open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.—a cozy spot on the second floor of EPCOT’s Imagination Pavilion where DVC members can take a break, recharge devices, and enjoy complimentary beverages.

New Hours Starting January 12, 2025

  • For all qualifying DVC members: The lounge will open an hour earlier, running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
  • For Membership Magic Beyond participants: Members enrolled in this premium perks program will also get exclusive evening access from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

The lounge will close briefly between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to reset for evening events, ensuring a smooth transition for guests attending the premium hours.

Why the 5 p.m. Closing Gap?

Let’s face it: Disney’s all about the magic, not awkward moments. By closing at 5 p.m., the lounge team avoids the uncomfortable task of asking non-participating members to leave before the exclusive evening events kick off.

Evening events during the 6–9 p.m. time slot will include character meet-and-greets exclusive to Membership Magic Beyond participants. These interactions will be another layer of Disney magic, giving members a chance to meet some of their favorite characters in an intimate setting.

Membership Magic Beyond: Worth It?

The new Membership Magic Beyond program is priced at $99 for 2025 and comes with more than just extended lounge hours. Here’s what you get:

  1. Priority Lounge Access: Guaranteed access to all DVC lounges (like the EPCOT and upcoming Magic Kingdom lounges) during waitlist situations.
  2. Character Meet-and-Greets: Exclusive evening events in the EPCOT lounge.
  3. Point Perks: A 2-for-1 offer on One Time Use points—perfect for squeezing in extra vacation magic.
  4. Special Ticket Pricing: Discounts on theme park tickets for Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

A Bit of History

The EPCOT DVC Member Lounge opened in 2016 to celebrate Disney Vacation Club’s 25th anniversary. Perched on the second floor of the Imagination Pavilion, it quickly became a favorite retreat for members.

And if you love the EPCOT lounge, get ready: A new space, McKim’s Mile House, is set to debut at Magic Kingdom next year.

How to Access the Lounge

To visit any DVC lounge, you’ll need to meet specific criteria. Members must own at least 150 DVC points purchased directly from Disney unless grandfathered under previous rules.

Final Thoughts

If you’re a frequent EPCOT visitor or just love the perks of being a DVC member, these changes bring exciting new opportunities. The expanded hours and enhanced benefits from Membership Magic Beyond are aimed at making the lounge experience more magical and exclusive.

So whether you’re enjoying an early-morning coffee break or a character meet-and-greet in the evening, the EPCOT DVC Member Lounge hours are designed to give members even more reasons to feel like Disney VIPs.
