Exciting New Additions on the Horizon: A Sneak Peak at the Latest Downtown Disney Concept Art
Hey there, Disneyland fans and foodies! If you’ve been keeping an eye on the latest happenings at the Disneyland Resort, you’re in for a treat. The resort has recently unveiled some fantastic concept art for a major expansion project in the Downtown Disney District, specifically on its west end. Let’s dive into what’s cooking and brewing with the latest Downtown Disney concept art!
Parkside Market: A Culinary Adventure Awaits
Get ready for Parkside Market, a unique and vibrant addition to Downtown Disney. Imagine a place where you can savor a variety of flavors, all under one roof. That’s what Parkside Market promises, thanks to the creative minds at Levy Restaurants. This curated collection will feature four distinct culinary concepts, offering something for every palate.
Food lovers can anticipate a delightful experience with offerings from GG’s Chicken Shop, Seoul Sister, and Sip & Sonder. And for those who enjoy a good view with their meal, there’s a second-story bar that’s sure to become a new favorite spot.
This new food hall is taking over the space previously occupied by AMC Theaters.
Tiendita: A Taste of Mexico in the Heart of Disney
The evolution of Downtown Disney continues with the spring 2024 opening of Tiendita. This exciting new venue is the brainchild of Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán. Tiendita is set to bring the vibrant flavors of Mexican street food to Disney, offering quick-service options that are perfect for on-the-go enjoyment. Crafted by the Patina Restaurant Group, the menu will be a celebration of Chef Gaytán’s Mexican heritage, promising authentic, mouth-watering dishes.
Paseo and Céntrico: Upscale Dining with a Mexican Twist
Also set to open in spring 2024 are Paseo and Céntrico, two more culinary gems in the Downtown Disney District. These venues, also featuring menus by Chef Carlos Gaytán, will elevate your dining experience. Paseo, the upstairs dining room, and Céntrico, the ground-floor courtyard bar and restaurant, will offer upscale Mexican cuisine paired with tequila-based cocktails. The Patina Restaurant Group’s involvement guarantees a dining experience that’s both authentic and innovative.
These locations were previously home to Catal & Uva bar. Both restaurants closed their doors back on April 14, 2023, to make way for Paseo, Tiendita, and Centrico. Catal was part of the Downtown Disney for 22 years.
A New Chapter for Downtown Disney
These new additions mark a significant and exciting phase in the evolution of the Downtown Disney District. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, these venues promise to offer unique culinary experiences that blend the magic of Disney with the flavors of the world. So, keep your eyes peeled for these upcoming restaurants and get ready to indulge in a world of taste and excitement!
Remember, these are just sneak peeks of what’s to come. The actual experience, once these venues open, is bound to be even more delightful and flavorful. Stay tuned for more updates, and get ready to explore these new culinary adventures at the Disneyland Resort. See you there!
