Exciting news for Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members! This summer, you’re invited to the exclusive DVC Welcome Home Weekends, a series of special events that will make your Disney experience even more magical. Running from July 22 through August 24, 2024, these weekends are packed with unique perks and unforgettable experiences across all DVC destinations. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of these fantastic five weeks! Here’s a detailed look at what to expect:
Walt Disney World Perks
One-Time Mobile Order Food Discount
Available throughout the event dates, qualifying DVC members can enjoy a 20% discount off the normal price of one mobile quick service food purchase at selected locations during restaurant operating hours. Keep an eye out for additional details and the discount code which will be provided closer to the event dates.
Sweet Stop
Every Thursday and Friday, starting July 25 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, DVC members and up to four guests can relish a free ice cream novelty at selected locations within the Disney theme parks.
Welcome Home Wakeup
Join for complimentary coffee and treats at select resorts, including Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Specific dates and times for these gatherings are yet to be announced, and attendees must have a reservation at the respective resorts to participate.
Character Close-Ups
Meet characters from the Disney animated film ‘Frozen’ at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in the Ballroom Fantasia J on selected dates in July and August. Note that event parking is not available; please use Disney transportation.
Ice Cream Parlor
DVC members and up to four guests can enjoy complimentary ice cream at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa DVC Preview Center, daily from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, starting July 22. A current Disney resort reservation is required, and there is a limit of one serving per person per week.
Disneyland Resort Perks
Sweet Stop
Similar to Walt Disney World, qualifying DVC members and up to four guests can enjoy a free ice cream novelty at selected locations within the Disney theme parks on specified dates and times.
Welcome Home Wakeup
Eligible DVC owners can enjoy complimentary coffee and treats at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel on selected dates in July and August. Participants need to have a reservation at a Disneyland Resort hotel.
Welcome Home Wednesday Wine Mixer
Enjoy complimentary wine and appetizers in the Wedding Garden at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, available on select Wednesdays. A Disneyland resort reservation is required for participation.
Character Close-Ups
Meet and greet sessions featuring a sketch artist and dance party at the Disneyland Hotel on specific dates. Event parking is not available; Disneyland resort reservation required.
Other DVC Destinations
Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort Pool Party
Join Disney friends for a pool party and fireworks at Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina, with events scheduled for Tuesdays starting July 23.
Disney’s Vero Beach Pirate Party
A pirate-themed experience awaits every Thursday, starting July 25, in the resort lobby.
Aulani Cultural Experience
Participate in Hawai’ian traditions with complimentary lei-making and hula lessons at Aulani Resort on selected dates.
Aulani Hawai’ian Art “Hana No’eau” Experience
Engage in complimentary tote stamping and ʻukulele lessons on specific dates and times at Aulani Resort’s designated areas.
Membership Requirements
To participate in these special events, DVC members must qualify for Membership Extras. A DVC digital card and photo ID must be presented upon arrival, and most perks and experiences require a Disney hotel reservation.
