NEW Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Single Rider Lane: What You Need to Know

Hey Disney Vacationers! Big news: Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT now has a Single Rider lane! If you’ve been longing to experience this family-friendly attraction with shorter wait times, here’s your chance—but there’s a catch. This is currently a limited-time test, and no one knows exactly how long it’ll last. So, let’s break it all down and show you how to take full advantage of the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Single Rider Lane.
Why the Single Rider Lane Is a Big Deal
For over three years since its debut, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure has never officially used its Single Rider system—even though it was built with one in mind. The Single Rider sign has been sitting there, mocking us, but now it’s finally in use. If you’re a solo park-goer or willing to split up from your group, this lane could be your golden ticket to a faster ride experience.
When and How to Use the Single Rider Lane
Here’s the scoop: the Single Rider lane isn’t listed in the My Disney Experience app. You won’t find it during Early Entry, but it should be available for the rest of the day. Cast Members haven’t confirmed whether it’ll be open during Extended Evening Hours or After Hours events, so keep an eye out for updates.
The entrance to the Single Rider queue is on the far left side of the attraction entrance. Don’t confuse it with the Lightning Lane—that’s now positioned in the middle. Once inside, the Single Rider queue runs alongside the Lightning Lane before splitting off.
Pro Tip: Single Riders will be seated as needed to fill empty spots in the ride’s three-by-three vehicle configuration. If you’re riding with friends or family, expect to be separated.
What to Expect in the Queue
The Single Rider queue merges with the Lightning Lane at the glasses pickup area. Here, you’ll find a separate bin for Single Riders to grab their 3D glasses before waiting for boarding. Signage makes it clear that Single Riders will be seated separately from other traveling parties. The goal is to keep the main line moving efficiently while filling odd-numbered seats.
Cast Members have shared that the Single Rider line is being used as a test, but they hope it will remain at least through the busy holiday season. With its efficient three-by-three seating configuration, the line operates similarly to Test Track’s Single Rider system, making it a great option for those looking to skip the standby wait.
Why You Should Try It Now
This is the first time Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure has used its Single Rider lane, and there’s no guarantee it’ll stick around. If you’re heading to EPCOT soon, take advantage of this test run while you can. The holidays are approaching, and with the park likely to be busier than ever, the Single Rider option could save you precious time.
Quick Recap:
- What’s New? Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure now has a Single Rider lane as part of a limited-time test.
- When Can I Use It? Not during Early Entry, but likely available during regular park hours.
- Where’s the Entrance? On the far left of the attraction entrance.
- What’s the Catch? Single Riders will be seated as needed and separated from their group.
This new option might not last forever, so if you’re looking to save time, now’s your moment. Bon appétit, and happy riding!
