Walt Disney World has just rolled out the red carpet for an exclusive preview of the much-anticipated new attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, at Magic Kingdom. Get ready to dive into the vibrant world of Disney’s The Princess and the Frog with this musical journey that promises fun, adventure, and a lot of jazz! When Can You Experience the Magic?

Mark your calendars! The Passholder previews are scheduled for June 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, and 20. This is your chance to be among the first to step into Tiana’s world before it opens to the general public on June 28, 2024.

What’s New with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure?

This new ride takes you on a captivating voyage through the bayous of Louisiana alongside Princess Tiana and her jazz-loving alligator friend, Louis. As you navigate through the shimmering waters, you’ll encounter toe-tapping tunes and meet both familiar faces and new friends. It’s all set against the festive backdrop of Mardi Gras, making for an unforgettable adventure.

How to Join the Virtual Queue for the Preview

In a departure from previous ride previews, there won’t be a signup process this time around. Instead, Walt Disney World is utilizing the Virtual Queue system, along with regular Park Pass reservations. Here’s how to ensure your spot:

  1. Make a Park Reservation: Secure a park reservation for Magic Kingdom on any of the preview dates. This reservation gives you a shot at joining the virtual queue at 7:00 AM on that day.
  2. Alternative Park Reservation Option: If you make a reservation for any other theme park on a preview date, you can try to join the 1:00 PM virtual queue. Just remember, you must enter the park where you have the reservation before heading over to Magic Kingdom.
  3. Joining the Virtual Queue: Use the My Disney Experience app to join the virtual queue. There are two opportunities to join each preview day—once at 7:00 AM and again at 1:00 PM.

Important Details to Remember

  • Annual Pass Validity: Ensure your Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass is valid on your chosen preview date. Check for any applicable blockout dates.
  • Virtual Queue Limit: You can request to join the virtual queue once per day.
  • Boarding Groups: Holding a spot in the virtual queue for the preview does not guarantee entry, as boarding groups are limited and subject to availability.
