Hey Disney Vacationers! We’ve got big news for EPCOT fans—Disney has officially announced the name of the new Spaceship Earth Lounge. Meet GEO-82, an adults-only lounge set to open this year inside the park’s most iconic attraction.
GEO-82: The Ultimate Adults-Only Lounge at EPCOT
Disney’s announcement confirms that GEO-82 will only be open to guests 21 and older. This marks a rare move for Walt Disney World, as most dining locations remain family-friendly. The lounge promises to be a premium escape within EPCOT, offering reservations for guests looking to unwind in a sophisticated setting.
What to Expect at GEO-82

According to Disney, guests will feel like they’re discovering a hidden part of Spaceship Earth. The design of GEO-82 will be heavily influenced by Spaceship Earth’s geometric patterns, featuring intricate structures, warm metallic tones, and rich textures that reflect the attraction’s famous exterior.
Where is the Spaceship Earth Lounge Located?
GEO-82 is taking over the former sponsor lounge inside Spaceship Earth.
For years, this space was a private event area used exclusively by Siemens, the attraction’s last sponsor. When Siemens ended its sponsorship in 2017, Disney no longer had a reason to keep the space reserved for corporate events.
At D23 in August 2024, Disney announced that the space would be transformed into the new Spaceship Earth Lounge. Now officially named GEO-82, the lounge is set to be a one-of-a-kind addition to EPCOT.
When Will GEO-82 Open?
Disney has not yet announced an official opening date. They have confirmed that more details—including when guests can make reservations and a full look at the drink and food menu—are coming soon.
And in classic Spaceship Earth fashion, Disney closed their announcement with a nod to one of the ride’s most famous lines:
“…and if you can read the menu, thank the Phoenicians!”
