This service is easily accessible through the My Disney Experience mobile app, ensuring a user-friendly and efficient journey for all visitors. By purchasing Genie+, you gain exclusive access to reserve specific ride times for your favorite attractions, ensuring you won’t miss a moment of the park’s enchanting wonders. Here are the first two things to understand about Disney Genie+:
Pricing Flexibility
Disney Genie+ offers pricing flexibility to match your chosen visit date and park. On average Disney says, you can expect to get in 2 to 3 attractions or experiences per day with Disney Genie+, provided they make their first selection early in the day. Check out my strategies below to find out how you can experience more than 2 to 3 attractions. For example, pricing could range from $15 per Guest, per day on less busy dates, $35 on busier days, and an attractive in-between price for other dates (plus tax).
Park-Specific Purchases
Tailor your Disney Genie+ date precisely to your liking! Embrace the freedom to choose between a single-park option or the excitement of multi-park exploration with ease. If you plan to focus your day on a specific park, the single-park option is all you need. However, if you’re looking to explore multiple parks in a single day, the multi-park option for Disney Genie+ is your golden ticket.

Disney Genie+ grants you access to a handpicked selection of popular attractions. The number of attractions per park varies. See the table below for a full breakdown of attractions for each Disney park.
INDIVIDUAL LIGHTNING LANES
Regardless of whether you’ve already purchased Disney Genie+, you can purchase up to 2 Individual Lightning Lane attractions per day. Each Individual Lightning Lane is priced per person and varies each day. See the table below for a full breakdown of attractions for each Disney park.
Making Reservations with Disney Genie+
Preparing for your Genie+ day is as simple! To make the most of Disney Genie+, ensure you have a valid theme park reservation for your desired date. Plan ahead by purchasing your park tickets and linking them to your My Disney Experience account before making your first Genie+ reservation. Prior to 7 am est. purchase Disney Genie+ for each member of your group who will be using it. At 7 a.m., all guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green can make their first Genie+ reservation. For the extra touch of convenience, if you’re staying at Walt Disney World resort hotels can make Individual Lightning Lane reservations at that time. All other guests can make their first Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane selection at the park opening.
Step-By-Step Guide to Purchase Disney Genie+
Open My Disney Experience
From the home screen of My Disney Experience, find the Disney Genie+ Service section. Click “Purchase”.
Select Disney Genie+ Service
On the next screen, scroll to the bottom and click “Get Disney Genie+ Service”.
Select the Type of Disney Genie+ Service
On the next screen, select which park you would like to use Disney Genie+ Service for the day. Please note if you select Multiple Parks, you must have a park ticket with the park hopper option.
Confirm Your Group
On the next screen, select which member of your group will be using Disney Genie+ for the day. Please note every member of your group who is 3 years old and older will need their own Disney Genie+ if they plan to use it. You are not able to share it. Once you select your group, follow the prompts to complete the purchase. SUCCESS!

By making additional selections as soon as possible, you can bask in the magic of multiple attractions in rapid succession. A mere 2-hour window for your first selection opens the door to even more unforgettable experiences. Embrace the thrill of exploring the parks with minimal wait times, allowing you to create cherished memories at every turn. If your first Genie+ selection is within the 2-hour window, you can make your first selection as soon as you scan in at the final touch point. For example, if you make a Disney Genie+ selection for Space Mountain at 1:00 pm and the return time is 1:30 pm, you can make your next Genie+ selection at 1:30 pm (after you complete the final scan to board the attraction). Using this method is the best way to optimize the amount of Disney Genie+ selections you can make in a day.

Once you’ve secured your reservations through My Disney Experience, here are some insights on utilizing this fantastic tool.
Pro Tip : Feel free to enter the Disney Genie+ line as early as 5 minutes before your reservation time or enjoy a grace period of up to 15 minutes after the reservation window has elapsed. Don’t worry; helpful Cast members are stationed at each Lightning Lane queue entrance to lend a hand in case you encounter any issues during the process.

Attractions in Succession
When making Disney Genie+ reservations later in the day, consider “stacking” them closely together. This ingenious option allows you to enjoy multiple attractions in rapid succession, maximizing your fun and adventure. However, be sure to allocate enough time to fully savor each attraction and smoothly transition to the next one.
Be Mindful of Availability
Disney Genie+ experiences are immensely popular, and availability can be subject to variation. The number of selections you can make and the arrival windows are limited, depending on various factors such as the specific theme park you visit, the attraction or entertainment experience, time of year, day of the week, and overall demand. It’s wise to plan ahead and be flexible to secure the experiences you desire.
Group Travel Made Easy
Traveling with a group? Disney Genie+ simplifies the process for you and your fellow travelers. Not only can you make Disney Genie+ selections for yourself, but you also have the exciting ability to make selections for your Managed Friends and Connected Friends. Likewise, your Connected Friends can reciprocate and modify choices, ensuring a coordinated and enjoyable experience for everyone. Stay updated by logging into your account and reviewing your itinerary.
Confirmed Arrival Window
Each Disney Genie+ attraction or entertainment, selection comes with a designated arrival window on the specified date. It’s crucial to adhere to this specified time frame, as the selection is not valid before or after the indicated time, nor can it be used at any other location. Planning your day accordingly will help you make the most of each experience.
Use It or Lose It
Remember that all Disney Genie+ selections, whether made by you or a Connected Friend, have a one-day validity. Unused or expired selections will not carry over to the following day, so be sure to make the most of your reservations within the given time frame.
Block-out Dates
For guests with passes or tickets that have block-out dates, keep in mind that making selections for those dates requires a separate valid park admission, and you must assign that entitlement to your account. Plan accordingly to avoid any disappointments during your visit.
Flexibility with Genie+
Disney retains the right to re-assign or reschedule a Genie+ selection in unforeseen circumstances, such as unplanned attraction or entertainment downtime, or any changes in operating hours. While such situations are rare, staying flexible and adaptable will ensure a smooth and magical experience.
