Blizzard Beach Reopening

Heads up, water park fans! Brace yourselves because Blizzard Beach is reopening, Disney’s ice-cool yet sun-soaked wonderland, is about to unfreeze its gates for another splash-tacular season! And guess what? It’s opening right when the holiday bells start ringing – on November 6th. Here’s a little sneak peek of the new things that are part of the Blizzard Beach reopening!

Dive In All Season Long with the New Seasonal Pass!

Guess what’s new on the Blizzard block? The Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass! For just $79 (plus tax, mind you), you’re invited to endless splashes at Disney Water Parks all the way until May 24, 2024. And yep, no sneaky blackout dates and no need to reserve a spot. Oh, and did I mention? Free parking! So, toss that sunscreen into your cart while you’re out shopping for holiday goodies.

Feast on Frosty Delights and Classic Eats

Now, if you’ve got a sweet tooth like me, you’re in for a treat. They’ve sprinkled some special churros on the Arctic Expeditions menu that I’m absolutely drooling over:

  • S’mores Churros: These are not just your regular churros. Think bites topped with graham goodness, marshmallow whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, and toasty mini marshmallows.
  • Banana Split Churros: A fruity fiesta of banana slices, strawberries, pineapple chunks, with cookie and brownie buddies, drenched in chocolate and caramel sauce. Oh, and can’t forget that cherry on top!

But hey, if you’re a wing-lover check these treats out. New on the menu are the zesty Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings and the creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings over at the Warming Hut. Thirsty or craving some old favorites? Head over to Lottawatta Lodge, Polar Pub, Frostbite Freddy’s, and many more.

A Frosty Retreat with Your Favorite Frozen Pals

Send those cold-weather selfies to your pals from Tike’s Peak. Dive into this “Frozen”-inspired zone with Anna and Elsa’s icy-cool igloo castle and a kiddie pool to frolic with the ever-charming Olaf and his Snowgie buddies.

Tropi-Cool Holiday Vibes

Who said you need snow boots for a winter fest? Feel the snowy vibes (without the frostbite) as you’re welcomed by soft snow flurries. And Santa? He’s ditched his North Pole attire for some tropical threads and is chilling out. While you’re at it, sip on some peppermint shakes and have fun cookie decorating!

Growing up with icy mornings and snowy driveways, I personally adore basking in Florida’s sunny embrace during winter. It’s like having a snow day, but with sun, splash, and no shovels! So, grab your Disney Water Parks Seasonal Pass, and make some waves atop Mount Gushmore. I’ll see ya there!
