Good-to-Go Days

Hey Disney World Annual Passholder! Have you heard about the latest update in the My Disney Experience app? It’s all about making your visits smoother with the new Good-to-Go days indicator. Let’s dive into what this means for your next magical adventure!

First off, the app now has a super handy feature. When you open it, you’ll see a card on the homepage that tells you straight-up whether you need a reservation for the parks that day (see below). It’s conveniently placed right between the park hours and your upcoming plans. So, if you see a message saying, “Hey, you can visit our theme parks today without a reservation,” you’re good to go! Although they don’t explicitly use the term “Good-to-Go,” it’s essentially what it means.

Good-to-Go Days

Curious about more details? There’s a “Learn More” button that takes you to the Walt Disney World website. Here, you’ll need to log in to see if your Friends and Family can also join in on the reservation-free fun. A heads-up, though: this part of the process can feel a bit clunky since it switches you from the app to the website, but it’s been like this since the Park Pass system started.

Now, about those Good-to-Go days. Disney World has been rolling them out gradually. They’ve announced dates up to February 1st, but keep an eye out because they’ll be adding more dates in batches. Remember, the in-app indicator for these special days only shows up on the actual day. If you need a reservation for your pass type on other days, the indicator won’t be there.

So, there you have it! Disney World is making it easier to know when you can just show up and enjoy the parks. Keep your app updated and enjoy those spontaneous trips to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
