More Flexilibty Starting in 2024: Disney World Virtual Queue Update

Starting January 9th, there’s a cool new change that’s going to make your Disney World experience even more flexible. Guess what? You can now join a virtual queue for an attraction at any of the Disney theme parks, provided you have valid admission for that park. That’s right, no more feeling tied down by theme park reservations for date-based tickets!

Here’s the nitty-gritty of how it works:

• One Queue at a Time: Just like before, you can hold a spot in one attraction’s virtual queue at a time. This means you get to plan your day around that must-do ride without the stress of missing out.
• Park Reservations and Admission Types: Keep in mind that depending on your admission type, you might need a theme park reservation to join a virtual queue. It’s always a good idea to check the specifics for your ticket type.
• Joining from Anywhere at 7:00 AM: You don’t need to be in the park to join a virtual queue at 7:00 AM. So, you can do it from your resort room, while having breakfast, or even on your way to the park.
• Joining from Inside the Park at 1:00 PM: If you’re more of a mid-day park-goer, you can join a virtual queue at 1:00 PM, but you’ll need to be inside the park for this one.

And here’s something for the thrill-seekers: Currently, the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and TRON Lightcycle Run are using this Virtual Queue system. So, if you’re a fan of heart-pumping, adrenaline-fueled rides, you’re in for a treat!
