The magic began in June 2021 when Disney and Scentsy, a renowned multi-level marketing company specializing in home fragrances, joined forces. This alliance was marked by Scentsy becoming the Official Home Fragrance of the Walt Disney World Resort. But the collaboration didn’t stop there; it hinted at a “new guest experience” that would soon enchant visitors in Fantasyland. Fast forward to today, and the anticipation has been building for the arrival of the Smellephants.

Walt Disney Imagineering has recently filed a permit that signals the near completion of this fragrant parade. Their portfolio boasts award-winning projects such as Star Tours, Pandora – The World of Avatar, and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, to name a few. Along other well-known Orlando theme park attractions including; Slinking Dog Dash, Toy Story Mania, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, Guardians of Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Mako, Journey to Atlantis, and more. With ThemeWorks Inc. at the helm for the “Installation of show sets” in Storybook Circus, the Smellephants installation is poised to be a sensory masterpiece.
